Government Launches ₹25,060 Cr. Export Promotion Mission Amid Rising U.S. Tariffs The Government of India has approved a ₹25,060 crore Export Promotion Mission (EPM Scheme: 2025–2031) to strengthen the entire export ecosystem, especially MSME exporters, impacted by the recent 50% tariff imposed by the U.S. on Indian goods. The mission will be implemented through two schemes: NIRYAT PROTSAHAN (₹10,401 Cr): Affordable trade finance for MSMEs — interest subvention, export factoring, collateral-free guarantees, credit cards for e-commerce exporters, and credit enhancement for new markets.
